Adding layers and NETIC CO- NETIC until the desired attenuation is achieved , the designer is able to determine the minimum amount of material required to neutralize the interference.
The result is a significant savings in the final design .
Includes 1 magnetic probe C. A. EP -101A model .

BACKGROUND

Magnetic interference involves important problems in the design and operation of electrical equipment. Instruments , control systems , data processing equipment and communications networks frequently show aberrations , whose sources may not be known but that are due to magnetic interference. Such interference is generally classified as external or internal .
- External interference : it is often caused by nearby equipment such as transformers and switching equipment , which generate "spikes" ( "spikes " ) affecting devices that are not physically connected to the source of interference . In this case the entire device must be shielded.
- Internal Interference : created by the operation of components within the system itself. Can usually be neutralized by the shield of individual components and the confinement of the magnetic field they create .
For C.C. and C.A. low frequency field, a magnetic screen provides a low reluctance path to the field that is interfering . The display attracts flux lines to himself and away the magnetic field sensitive component .
